ClubRainbow is a charity organization that provides comprehensive help to children who are suffering from a range of chronic and life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Together with my friend, we volunteered to migrate ClubRainbow from their dated website (last updated was in 2013) to SquareSpace. The challenge was to make it secure and integrate it with their original payment system instead of Stripe.
With technologies such as CloudFlare, Mandrill, Google Docs and Parse, we successfully port over from WordPress and it was launched in June 2015.

A unique educational game that helps Mandarin Chinese student to learn the language in a unique and fun way.
Many students gave up in learning Mandarin Chinese because of 1) the embarrassment of sounding weird when they speak and 2) the boring journey of pure hard work in remembering the Chinese characters.
In ReturnFromChina, we removed all that by using a state-of-the-art voice cloud engine, iFlyTek that provides instant assessment of your speaking ability and giving the users lots of fun via the in-game voice interaction with the game characters and story.

Overall, we did very well, considering we have to fight against with giants like Twitter's Vine and Facebook's Instagram.
